Dear Investigators,

Yet another mystery well-solved thanks to your dogged detective work! After several twists, turns, and plumbing issues, Mr. Molinari’s guests can finally stop worrying about The Disquiet at the Imperial Hotel.

When Watson first arrived to investigate the recent oddities at the Imperial, there were more than several red flags raised: there was a matter of strange lights appearing at one of the hotel’s windows, reports of rhythmic tapping coming from within the walls, and an alarmingly large man lurking nearby. Already, many of our sleuths suspected espionage, but there was much more to be uncovered. Were any of these nuisances a true cause for concern, and if so, how were they connected to each other?

Once Mr. Molinari wrote to Holmes himself, it became more evident that the “disquiet” was worthy of investigation. And after reading descriptions of the hotel’s current guests, and their complaints, some sharp investigators started to realize there was more than one thread to follow in this case. Nonetheless, there was still scarce evidence pointing to any actual crime – perhaps a series of obnoxious guests, if anything.

Detective Janet C., of Chandler, AZ, was one of the first detectives to propose an explanation for this case, and of the possible crimes afoot. Although their hypothesis was a touch off the mark at first, Detective Janet impressed us by identifying and addressing each of the ongoing mysteries: Mr. Kern and his accomplice, the ominous circus performers, the flooding in the lobby, and Mr. Moretti and Mr. Fanconi’s experiments. To seal the deal, Detective Janet then followed up with a revised solution that was right on target.

Few folks, like Detective Liz H, saw the connection between Kern and Lady Graham’s schedules, however, Detective Janet not only drew the line between Kern and his partner in espionage, but also expertly dismissed Moretti and Fanconi as suspects and identified their true objectives. Not to mention, this case’s Featured Detective was one of two parties to correctly deduce the cause of the Imperial Hotel’s plumbing problems, and the presence of a captive “circus performer” (shoutout to The Wylie Team for this too).

Congratulations from the Dear Holmes Team to Detective Janet C. — a special reward will soon be on its way!
